During the engagement session, we begin to build a connection and become friends. This is our time to get to know each other and create a relaxed experience that truly feels like you. We’ll walk through our engagement guide together to help you plan your unique engagement or proposal.
This experience includes 1.5 hours of coverage, guidance on location and outfits, a planning guide, 50 images per hour, film photography, drone coverage, full printing rights, and your complete gallery delivered within 3 weeks. You’ll also receive plenty of guidance and support through phone calls during the planning process.

Playful, honest, and easy! Our Asheville family photography packages are all about connection, with gentle guidance and room for real moments. We document families the way they are, using a mix of film and digital to create images that feel natural and timeless.
The experience includes: A location, 1 hour of coverage, outfit and planning guide, photos shot in film and digital, drone coverage, full printing rights, your full gallery delivered within 3 weeks, and plenty of guidance and phone calls while planning.

Booking process.
I. Fill out our contact form here.
We'll reach out with an in depth pricing guide and from there meet in person or through FaceTime. We'll connect, learn more about you, and hear your story. We’ll walk through your plans, answer any questions, and make sure we’re the right fit — no pressure, just genuine connection.
II. Get to know each other.
Tell us a little about you and what you’re planning. This helps us understand your story and what makes you, well you. Any and all details are welcome, even if you're just in the initial planning phase.
III. Make it official + Prep for your big day.
Once you’re ready to book, we’ll send over your contract and initial invoice to officially reserve your date. From there, we’re always just a message away. As your day approaches, we’ll check in, walk through your timeline together, and make sure every detail feels thoughtful and aligned — so you can move into your wedding day feeling confident and cared for.

I. Photo Previews.
Within one week of your wedding we’ll share a few sneak peek images so you can relive some of your favorite moments right away. These previews are a little glimpse of the day’s joy, laughter, and love — a way to celebrate while the memories are still fresh
II. Gallery Delivery
Within 8 weeks, your full gallery will be ready. Each image is carefully curated and beautifully edited to capture the emotion, joy, and little moments of your day. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can relive your wedding, share it with loved ones, and shop for products like prints and albums.
You'll have photos in hand that feel so completely you, you'll find yourselves grinning ear to ear with happy tears thinking of showing your grandkids or grandpups in years from now

How many hours of photography coverage do we need for our Asheville wedding?
Most couples find 8 hours is perfect for a full story – getting ready through reception highlights – but it really depends on your timeline and guest count. We’ll help you dial in the right amount during your consultation.
Do you photograph mountain weddings in NC?
Yes! We love mountain days. Whether you’re planning an outdoor wedding on the Blue Ridge Parkway, at a venue tucked into the hills, or somewhere that needs a short hike, we’ll help you think through light, timing, and a weather backup plan.
What’s your style on the wedding day?
We’ll guide when it matters (family formals, portraits, timeline moments), and the rest is captured naturally. Think modern wedding photos that still feel timeless – real hugs, real tears, real dance floor chaos.
We also come with a soft footprint and a steady hand! We bring a flat lay and wedding emergency kit and help out wherever we can – from fixing boutonnieres or a shoe to smoothing little details. Juan is calm, grounding, and great at keeping things relaxed when anything unexpected pops up. And, his fashion and commercial background means you’ll feel confident and naturally posed without it ever feeling forced.
When will we get our photos?
Sneak peeks are delivered within 7 days. Your full wedding gallery arrives within 6 to 8 weeks.
Do you carry insurance, and can you add our venue?
We carry photographer’s insurance with general liability coverage, and we’re happy to add your venue as additionally insured if they require it.
Couples & Engagements
We’re awkward in photos. Can you help us?
Absolutely! Almost everyone feels that way at first. We’ll give light, easy prompts so you’re not “posing,” you’re just hanging out together. The goal is connection, not perfection.
Where are the best places to take engagement photos in Asheville?
We’ll help you choose a spot that fits your personalities – downtown Asheville, a quiet trail, a mountaintop overlook, or somewhere meaningful to you. We also guide timing so you get the best light.
Can you photograph a surprise proposal?
Yes! We’ll plan it with you quietly, pick a location and time, and stay out of sight until the moment happens – then we’ll roll right into an engagement session if you want.
How many images will we receive?
You’ll get a fully edited gallery that tells the whole story of your session – typically over 50 images per-hour. We also include film photography on almost all engagement sessions.
Lifestyle
What should we wear for family photos?
Go for comfortable, coordinated (not matching) outfits in soft, neutral tones. Earthy colors photograph beautifully in Asheville’s landscapes. We’ll send an easy styling guide after you book.
What if our kids don’t want to cooperate?
It’s totally normal. We work fast, keep things playful, follow their lead, and capture the real stuff in between. Those are usually the favorites anyway.
Can we include grandparents or extended family?
Yes! Just tell us how many people to expect so we can plan the flow and make sure everyone feels included.
When will we receive our gallery?
Family galleries are typically delivered within 3 to 4 weeks.
