Hi, we're Juan and Emily – Asheville, North Carolina–based photographers with an emphasis on film & digital documentary wedding photography.
We found each other in Los Angeles, California, and were married a short year and a half later in the same city we fell in love. It's also where Juan started his career as a full-time photographer before moving to Western North Carolina. We began working together when we moved to Asheville in 2022, and have loved every minute.

We enter each story we photograph with a soft footprint. All of our couples are incredibly kind, and we've loved being a part of each unique story we've photographed. We function as close guests who are present to observe in order to capture unfiltered emotion – the big laughs and happy tears and everything in between.
We believe wedding photography is more than a service – it’s an experience. Our goal is to create a relaxed environment where your day feels smooth, natural, and true to who you are.
Our style is authentic, and true to life. We avoid heavy editing and passing trends, focusing instead on natural colors, genuine moments, and honest storytelling.
