How far do you travel for photoshoots?
We are local to the Asheville, North Carolina area but are available wherever your love story takes us. We have photographed weddings in North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, and California, and can't wait to see where you take us next!
Do you photograph elopements and small weddings in NC?
Yes! We love intimate days. As Asheville elopement photographers, we approach elopements and small weddings with the same care, storytelling, and film and digital coverage as a full wedding day – whether it’s just the two of you on a mountaintop or a small circle of your favorite people.
Do you offer proposal photography in Asheville?
Yes! We love documenting surprise proposals and “YES!” moments. We’ll help you plan the timing, location, and approach so it feels effortless, then stay discreet until the moment happens. Afterwards, we can roll right into a relaxed mini session if you’d like.
What are your family photo sessions like?
Our sessions are relaxed, playful, and focused on connection over perfection. If you’re looking for natural family photography in Asheville NC that feels honest, warm, and true to your crew, we’d love to photograph your family.
Can you photograph our newborn?
Yes, we offer newborn sessions and would love to document this season for you. As Asheville newborn photographers, our approach is calm, gentle, and baby-led, with simple guidance and plenty of time for feeding or soothing as needed. We can share details on timing, what to expect, and how to book when you reach out.
Will you help us build our wedding day timeline?
Yes! We’ll help you shape a timeline that feels relaxed and realistic, with plenty of breathing room. We’ll also guide you on the best light for portraits and how to keep things flowing naturally so you can stay present.
Can I request specific poses or shots?
Our initial consultation call is so important because we get to see what is most important to you and how you want to remember your wedding day. Letting us know your inspo or some of your favorite poses or shots gives us a better idea of what you want and is always encouraged!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
We include travel within 25 miles of the zip code 28801, serving the Blue Ridge Parkway, Hendersonville, Greenville, the Smoky Mountains, Knoxville, Spartanburg, Charlotte, Boone, and beyond.
What happens if it rains or the timeline shifts?
Totally normal, especially in the mountains. We stay calm, pivot quickly, and help you make the most of whatever the day brings. Rain, delays, or last-minute changes won’t stop us from telling your story beautifully!
What if you’re sick or there’s an emergency – do you have a backup plan?
Yes. If something truly unexpected happened, we have a trusted network of professional photographers we can call on to step in. Your day would still be fully covered, and your images would be edited and delivered in our style.
Do you retouch photos? What kind of editing is included?
Yes, every image is hand-edited in our signature style for consistent color, tone, and a natural, timeless feel. We do light retouching when needed and occasionally use AI for masking (like refining color or removing small distractions such as a sign or tree stump). Our goal is always for your photos to look honest and true to how it happened!
How long until I receive the final photos?
We typically deliver your wedding sneak peeks within 7 days and your full wedding gallery within 6 to 8 weeks. What we decide can vary based on what you want for your wedding package!
How do you back up your photos?
We shoot to dual cards and carry all of our memory cards in a waterproof case juuust in case we fall into a fountain (ask us about that ha ha). After your wedding day, we upload everything to a hard drive as well as a third place to ensure that all of your photos are kept safe and sound.
Do you have insurance?
We carry photographer’s insurance with general liability coverage for us as well as anyone else we hire as needed, and we can add your venue to our policy if they require this.
