From the large tent amid the open filed to the small details.

Juan believes film is the truest and rawest form of photography there is. Edits, styles, and trends come and go unlike film, which has been here for decades.

Juan used different film cameras to capture this alfresco style wedding. He used 3 film cameras; Konica Hexar, Fuji Film 690, and a 35mm Minolta and paired them with Kodak Film. Juan loves the tones, contrast, and colors of Kodak Film so for this wedding he used a mix of Kodak Portra 400 and Kodak Portra 160. He also captured a few shots using the discontinued Fujifilm 400Hpro. Nathan Rivers who documented the wedding on video used a mix of digital and Super 8 to capture more organic moments of Tami and Jenees from their alfresco style wedding.
